VTool now shows confirmed (red) and unconfirmed (yellow) fault codes.
There is also a mask setting for reading errors. Many questions were received - why does some scanner show an error, but VTool does not. The answer is simple - the scanner reads the fault codes with a different mask.
By default, VTool reads DTC with the test failed since last clear checkbox. You can experiment by changing the flags. For example, by enabling only the "confirmed" checkbox, you will only get confirmed (red) fault codes, and there will be no yellow ones at all.
The list of flags with which the errors were read is listed in the tooltip, just hover over the error code with the mouse
