How to run VTool on Windows7

Supporting compatibility with Windows 7 is becoming increasingly difficult, as the operating system is very old.
Here are the steps for making VTool work:

1) Install specially prepared VTool version for Windows 7.

2) Ensure that you've installed the update KB3063858

3) Not required starting from v 1.2.210, but if you notice the following error after launching VTool under Win7:

This problem can be solved by unpacking the archive https://vtool.info/blend/api-ms-win-cor ... l1-1-0.zip

into the Windows system folder ( C:\Windows\System32 )

Then VTool should launch without any issues.
