Hi,
I used your amazing Vtool a few days ago and got a few codes. Maybe you can check if there is more detail description of these codes: ECM-P013400, ECM-P225E00? What they mean or what the fix might be? I’ve tried googling them, but couldn’t find clear answers.
Big thanks for creating this tool, by the way. And I appreciate any help in advance!
Best regards,
Tomas
ECM-P013400, ECM-P225E00 error codes
Re: ECM-P013400, ECM-P225E00 error codes
ECM-P013400 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1). .
Information
The oxygen sensor inside the lambda probe, front, provides the Engine Control Module (ECM) with information about the remaining oxygen content of the exhaust gas before the catalytic converter. This provides the possibility for the Engine Control Module (ECM) to continuously check the combustion.
Test run criteria
The control module's test for the DTC starts when:
• The vehicle has been in usage mode driving for at least 20 minutes.
Detection criteria
The DTC is set if the control module detects that:
• The oxygen sensor preheating circuit has a deviating function.
Fault handling in the control module
• The Engine Control Module (ECM) uses a value calculated from other sensors in the engine.
ECM-P225E00 NOx Sensor Performance - Signal Stuck High Bank 1 Sensor 2.
Information
The NOx Detection Module Rear (NDMR) measures the NOx concentration in the exhaust gases and compares this value with a calculated value.
Test run criteria
The control module's test for the DTC starts when:
• Engine braking is performed while driving (no fuel injection).
• The calculated temperature in the NOx reduction catalytic converter is below 330 °C.
Detection criteria
The DTC is set if the control module detects that:
• The measured NOx concentration is too high compared to the calculated value.
Fault handling in the control module
• The NOx value from the NOx Detection Module Rear (NDMR) is replaced by a calculated value.
• The adaptation of the NOx reduction urea dosage is deactivated.
